Inspiration and Style

Expression and rupture in his works

Andrzej Gudański’s paintings are partly inspired by futurism, an artistic movement that seeks
movement, expression and a break with existing traditions. His works are poetic and often thematically linked to the city and its characters, reflecting his fascination with the bright colors, hues and symbolism of fairy tales.

Gudański has developed a unique and distinctive style. As an artist of the postmodern era, he combines the real with the imaginary, playing with the unusual, the wonderful and the absurd. In his works it is difficult to distinguish between the serious and the frivolous, creating an intriguing mix. Through his poetic and allegorical paintings, Gudański deeply explores the drama of modern man and his complex existence.

The paintings I paint are a combination of imagination and emotions that are transformed on canvas into a surreal world wrapped in an unusual aura.
